PURPOSE IN EVERY LAP

Build understanding.
Develop consistency.

Driver development is more than time in the seat. It means understanding a decision, recognizing what the car is doing, and knowing what to work on next. At BSI, focused practice and thoughtful review give each session a purpose.

01 / PREPARE

Give the session a focus.

Start with the driver’s experience and a clear goal. Talk through track conditions and the decisions ahead before heading out.

02 / DRIVE

Understand the choices.

Work on corner entry, racing lines, and throttle decisions. Connect what the driver feels in the car with what happens on the track.

03 / REFLECT

Learn from the last run.

Talk through what worked, what changed, and where the driver felt unsure. Questions and useful feedback turn a session into something to build on.

04 / BUILD

Take one step forward.

Choose a focus for the next session. Keep developing consistency, awareness, and clear communication between the driver and the team.

DRIVER DEVELOPMENT WITH WELDON

A conversation that builds understanding.

Weldon’s role is to help drivers make sense of their time on track. The focus is on racecraft, useful driver feedback, and connecting each session to the next. Every driver starts with different experience and goals. Talk with BSI about the development approach and current availability for your driver.

FOR PARENTS & DRIVERS

Start with
a conversation.

Tell BSI where your driver is today and what they want to work on next. Ask about the right next step, program details, and current availability.

Introduce your driver.

Include their racing class, experience, and goals. A parent or guardian can make the first introduction for a young driver.
